Introducing my favorite couple in the world, Drew & Katie. I grew up with Drew living right up the street from me. He's always been the guy I looked up to and did everything with. In high school we started a band together (Three Worlds Gone) and we were the bee's knees. We made dumb little youtube videos and eventually led us to making our first feature length film together (Color Me Sunshine). This last summer he helped create our 2nd feature film (Work in progress title). Needless to say, Drew is like a brother to me and Katie is well.... I've honestly always wanted my best friend to feel like a sister to me, and shes becoming just that. I don't even care that i'm this awkward 3rd wheel now because they are a dream team and we are the three amigos. Wow that was super stupid.  

Anyways please take a look at their engagement session because its freaking fantastic. Well At least they are freaking fantastic. We explored Park City during Sundance and froze at Tibble Fork Reservoir. Definitely worth it.

I've been wanting to shoot with Shelby for a while now. Its a sad fact that we went to the same high school but never talked to each other....stupid high school. Finally though we met and I found out shes's super rad. Seriously, one of the funniest girls I now can call my friend. Her humor reminded me a lot of Amy Poehler, all we needed was Tina Fey and we would have been set. Speaking of which, they really need to do another film together. its been way too long since Baby Mama, and Anchor Man 2 just wasn't enough.

Anyways, as soon as I walked in her apartment, she took one look at me and said I have the same outfit. Naturally she had to put it on and we had to recreate these pics:

The Stanley Hotel

Over the holiday break I was able to travel home to Colorado and take pictures of a few people I admire. One of them being Hannah. Her story amazes and inspires me and please take the time to read her story.

Since we're both studying film right now we decided it was necessary to shoot at The Stanley Hotel which is famous for being the filming location of "The Shinning" and "Dumb and Dumber." I wanted to run into the bar and scream, "We landed on the moon!"
